Charging times[edit]

3-pin "EVSE brick"[edit]

  • 10 amp / 2.3 kW
  • 10 to 12 hours for 24 kWh battery
  • 12 to 15 hours for 30 kWh battery

Type 1 or Type 2 J1772 cable[edit]

  • 16 amp / 3.6 kW
  • 6 to 8 hours for 24 kWh battery
  • 9.5 hours for 30 kWh battery

Type 1 or Type 2 J1772 cable[edit]

  • 32 amp / 6.6 kW
  • 3 to 4 hours for 24 kWh battery
  • 5.5 hours for 30 kWh battery
  • 7.5 hours for 40 kWh battery
  • Requires a 32 amp charge post (like we have here) and the option 6.6 kW charger
  • Optional on Gen.2 LEAF
  • Standard on LEAF 2.ZERO and LEAF 40

  • 100 amp / 50 kW
  • 30 minutes to 80% for both 24 and 30 kWh battery
  • 40 to 60 minutes for 40 kWh battery
  • Optional on some Visia vehicles
  • Now standard on all models
